Live Sound Engineering

Prepare yourself to immerse yourself! At The Riversheen School of Music, you will have 720+ hours hands-on training in the Live Sound Program's classrooms, wedding rehearsal areas, and laboratories. Classes meet 5 days a week, 30-40 hours weekly, and there is always a low student-to-teacher ratio. Every student:

has access to specific workstations featuring the Focusrite RedNet X2P with Dante and ProTools.

has access to audio labs and equipment outside of routine hours, to deal with tasks and/or practice recording and mixing.

works along with market pros and unique visitor coaches in the class, live wedding rehearsals, and training occasions.

The Riversheen School of Music's Live Noise Engineering program is centered 100% on experiential knowing, the same mentor-based focus that has created generations of award-winning live noise specialists. We are connected with Top Studios & the biggest bands in Sri Lanka, so students learn from and have access to expert engineers with lengthy credits.

The curriculum consists of routine roundtable conversations and guest-mentoring sessions with engineers, audio professionals, and other pros in the live sound industry. Regular "Spot" and "Ears On" obstacles teach trainees the abilities needed to listen and respond. Classes are restricted in size, providing each trainee the most individual attention possible. When students are not in the live sound classroom or workshop, they find out on-site at live performance places and other professional performance work spaces.
