Ex Mirage fame Melantha Perera and the students of Riversheen School of Music will showcase their debut concert to be held at Jeelan Central College, at Old Galle Road, Keselwatte on 1st December, 2017.

I am looking forward to seeing music lovers from Moratuwa and my devoted fans from all over the country attending the concert.

Melantha along with his students from Riversheen School of Music (RSM) and several popular artistes, including Rukshan Perera, Devshan Perera of Battery band, Dalreen Suby, Noeline Honter, Ronnie Leitch, Mariazelle Goonetilleke and Dushyanth Weeraman will be featured in the ‘Music in You’ Concert.

The motto of Riversheen School of Music – ‘We bring out the music in you’ is the real meaning of the school. We will be showcased this through my students, along with the school’s new methods of teaching skills. RSM is dedicated to bring out their talent in music’ Melantha explained.

He also stated that he hopes to release his most of his compositions on DVD along with RSM Magazine and the user friendly Riversheen School of Music notation system on the same day of the Concert.

The evening’s programme will also include a family tribute to his parents. The popular musician Rukshan Perera of Super Golden Chimes fame is his brother, while Devshan, his son is the leader and the mainvocalist of the band Battery.

Part of the proceeds will be channeled to the Lunawa Hospital project in Moratuwa.
